Comedian and actor Bernie Mac dead at age 50

Heard this morning that Comedian and Actor Bernie Mac died due to a pneumonia in Chicago. While I am
saddened upon learning of his passing, I’m happy when I think that Bernie Mac pretty much did what he set out to do. Namely, make a name for himself doing what he was put here on this earth to do.
With his talent, he was able to make quite a living in the crazy world of show-biz and that’s quite an accomplishment.
He was VERY funny and went on to star on television shows and movies.
I’m sure he wanted more, but Bernie Mac can rest knowing that he accomplished MUCH. While he was a bright spot in most of the movies he appeared in, it’s too bad that audiences never really went to see the movies he STARRED in. Where were all the folks who are now crying for Bernie Mac when Mr. 3000 came out?
Speaking of which, here’s a review of the Bernie Mac movie Mr. 3000 by critic Armond White. Mr. White expressively explains what made Bernie Mac’s performance in that film special, and what most audiences missed out on.
R.I.P. Bernie Jeffrey McCullough, you will be missed.
