Barack Hussein Obama — How DOES He Do It? (TIME magazine excerpt)

Tuesday, May 13, 2008 — by Wow Jones

While Barack Hussein Obama hasn’t clinched the Democratic nomination yet, it sure looks like he’s got it.  I’ve learned to never count out a Clinton though.  😉  Below’s an excerpt from an article from TIME magazine that purports to explain how Barack Hussein Obama has gotten as far as he’s gotten.

The May 19, 2008 issue of TIME Magazine has a cover story on Barack Hussein Obama that states the obvious.

“Obama, meanwhile, had junked his starch speaking style in favor of something that helped him share up his base.  Dan Shomon, his campaign manager against (Bobby) Rush, believes Obama learned the art of public speaking at the scores of black churches he visited in 2000, absorbing the rhythm and flourishes of pastors and watching how their congregations reacted.  David Mendell notes in his biography of Obama how the candidate would ‘drop into a Souther drawl, pepper his prose with a neatly placed ‘ya’ll and call up various black colloquialisms.’  He rarely missed a chance to speak at Sunday services in black churches, where, Mendall writes, he linked his candidacy to the larger march forward of African-Americans.”

Soooooo…Barack Hussein Obama learned his popularizing speaking style at the Black church?   Gee whiz, do ya think???   😉    Well, Barack Hussein Obama and Elvis Presley have more in common than we think.
