Wednesday, April 9, 2008 — by Wow Jones
Here are a few photos from a chance encounter with Rapper Lil Mama in Brooklyn. These photos were taken when her single “Lip Gloss” was still in the air, as well as her guest-starring spot on the remix of Avril Lavigne’s song, “Girlfriend”.
Here are the photos, in the order they were taken.
a crowd gathers.
strike a pose.
what’d you say?

can I get an autograph?
guuuuuuuuuurl, did you hear about…
yeah, and…
just a glimpse.

owner telling crowd that he’s now closing the shop. No more customers.
Wow.
No more customers.
Still wanna see?
Oh my God…
Hi!
Hi!
Happens all the time.
Boy after Lil Mama winks at him…
Boy after Lil’ Mama blows kiss at him…
Boy after I get his attention.
Intersection where this occured.
By the time I took the above photo, Lil Mama was whisked into a taxi and was driven away from the nail salon. Oh well.
Lil’ Mama’s debut CD, “Voice Of The Young People” is being released on April 29th, 2008. Took long enough.

Lil Mama I like ur style. U remind me of Lisa Lopes a.k.a “Left Eye” from TLC. Both of you have a creative style and you deliver it just as witty, and forceful as did Left Eye. But no disrespect but you kind of look like a dude to me. I still like ur music, but that’s just somethin’ that I wanted to say. But u cool
